Programme Highlights

The seminar will consider the different options available to parties when considering the dispute resolution clauses to be adopted for projects in China, and in particular whether arbitration or litigation in Hong Kong or the Mainland is to be preferred.

Ir. Mark Lloyd-Williams: Partner, Herbert Smith
Mark Lloyd-Williams is the managing partner of Herbert Smithˇ¦s Hong Kong office and head of the regional construction and arbitration practices. He has led teams advising on the drafting and negotiation of contracts, forms of appointment, warranties and associated documentation for all types of building and civil engineering projects and on the structuring and drafting of joint venture agreements. Mark also advises on the resolution of construction disputes in the Hong Kong courts and through arbitration and alternative forms of dispute resolution both in Hong Kong and elsewhere in Asia.
