" Project Yourself into the Future "
The 2005 AIPM National Conference was held from the 9th-11th October 2005 at the Hilton on the Park, Melbourne, Victoria. The conference took as its theme a look into the future of Project Management. This conference was a resounding success, with over 350 delegates learning just how far Project Management has come, and has yet to go! Dr. Neveen Moussa has stepped down and the new National President is Dr. David Dombkins. Some interesting themes of the conference include:
- Soft Skills for Project Managers;
- Communications for Vitual Project Teams;
- Skills for Conflict Management;
- Public Private Partnership ( PPP) & Alliance Procurement Models; and
- The Development of Competency Standard for Project Manager.
